Lilian Rugamba Umuhire

Lillian is the General Manager of Support Services at RwandAir and a valued member of the Zigama CSS Board of Directors. She has worked with government and non-government organisations for more than 20 years as a specialist in human resources management, academic services, and taxation programs. Lilian has held different high-level positions including Assistant Lecturer at the College of Science and Technology (former KIST), Training Manager, Principal-Tax Training Institute, and Director of Tax Training Institute at Rwanda Revenue Authority, General Manager Human Resource at RwandAir and General Manager of Support Services at RwandAir.

Lillian has performed different international responsibilities as the Chairperson of East Africa Revenue Authorities and Federation of East Africa Freight Forwarders Association Curriculum Implementation Committee, and East Africa Revenue Authorities Technical Assistance to Burundi Revenue Authority.

In 2007, Lilian was a trainer for the East Africa Revenue Authorities on management and supervisory skills for trainers. Her experience in planning and taxation programs has led her to receive numerous invitations to present at various forums around the world. As a Zigama Board Member, she provides important insights to ensure the cooperative continually exceeds member expectations.
