About Zigama CSS
Background
Zigama Credit and Savings Society is a Financial Cooperative with a membership drawn from six security institutions—The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), Rwanda National Police (RNP), Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB), Rwanda Forensic Laboratory (RFL), National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) and Rwanda Correctional Services (RCS). For almost 23 years, Zigama has been improving the lives of its members and their families by promoting a culture of saving, providing loans with competitive interest rates and making banking easier. We have branches across Rwanda and serve more than 100,000 valued members.
Governance
Zigama CSS corporate governance ensures members are served well and that we meet all legal obligations and requirements. At the operational level, our departments work hard to understand your needs and provide you with products and services that suit you best. Our structure is made up of a General Assembly, the Board of Directors and the Executive Management.
General Assembly
Zigama CSS General Assembly is the highest organ of the institution and is responsible for overseeing the operations of the cooperative.
It convenes twice a year to discuss the progress of the cooperative and strategise for the future.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Directors ensures Zigama CSS meets the interests of both members and staff.
The board upholds legal obligations as well as members’ expectations by building a stronger and responsible leadership team.
Zigama CSS board includes a skilled and professional team of decision makers who drive the institution’s vision forward for the benefit of all members.
